The Rules around Consuming Cannabis in Public

With a warm summer  ahead of us, sessions with friends and new people from around the world are coming to visit Canada. So, it is important to remember some of the public cannabis consumption laws and regulations in BC.

Below are all the facts. the two documents here are the guidelines from the province of BC. There may be other municipal bylaws where you are that are different so it is always good to check your local bylaws.

Even though there are many restrictions on consuming Cannabis in public, there are some Exemptions to the the Prohibitions.

On top of that we want to remind everyone you should never operate a motor vehicle while under the influence of Cannabis. With the canna-curious to the cannaisseur to consume responsibly. Lots of us know someone or have had a bad experience ourselves when over consuming cannabis products. So, Knowing your limits and staying with in it, is always a good plan to follow. Always respect others, and plan for a safe ride home if out with friends.
